Showroom is by appointment only. Why Choose Safari? When we started our thatch and bamboo company in 1984, we had no idea that we would become renowned in the design and architectural circles for being truly unique or that we would become the largest supplier of tropically themed architectural materials in the United States. We simply wanted to capture the soft, tranquil, unhurried ambiance that exists in places untouched by concrete and steel, internet access, and cellular phones. We wanted to take the textures, colors, materials, and abundant beauty of the natural world and help our clients create exotic escapes and personal oases that are destinations within themselves.

Review 1:

We recently thatched our home made tropical tiki bar to our Enchanted Cottage and Botanical Garden air b n b and decided to go with synthetic thatch for durability. The company particularly Robbie always answered or returned calls, very thorough in follow ups and very easy to deal with. It is clear this company stand by their product and offers excellent customer service. I highly recommend them.

While our umbrella (natural Tahitian thatch) is still shipping, giving 5 stars for customer service and communication thus far. Shipping was delayed while they located an umbrella part, so I requested they expedite to ensure delivery before a family event. They did and quickly confirmed shipment info and ETA. For a small order, the communication and efforts thus far are deserving of acknowledgment. Thanks Robby, Chris and Raul! Update: Umbrella kit arrived in time in great condition. Was missing instructions. The local carrier/delivery co was tops. Umbrella and thatch are premium quality and appear much more durable (vs a prior woven thatch umbrella with bamboo pole we owned). Assembly and installation took several hours and occasionally 2 people. Requires zip ties (we used ~70), which were not included. If you’re in the market for a tropical looking umbrella that’s natural and made to last, I highly recommend.

Review 4:

Reached out to Todd Carone for product info and estimates. Worst experience having to deal with him. Had to follow up on trying to get a quote, he never sent it to me, but said he sent it to whoever was on the account. Once quote was finally received almost 2 weeks later, it was still the wrong material estimated. Extremely rude and unprofessional, especially with his emails, your reply in all caps sealed the deal for finding a better vendor. Found the product I was looking for from another vendor, quote received same day and material ordered at a better price.
