Review 1:

On September 8, 2026 an Air Pros technician diagnosed the compressor on my approximately two-year-old AC system as failed. I was told the likely cause was a power surge and was presented with estimates of $1,924 for an in-warranty compressor replacement and $3,655 for the compressor replacement plus surge protection. Because the system is only two years old, I obtained a second opinion before authorizing the repair. The second licensed HVAC company tested the system and determined that the compressor is functioning normally. They diagnosed the no-cooling condition as a condensate drain/float-switch issue. The original compressor remains installed and operational. They performed an $795 repair and the unit is now functioning properly. I am extremely concerned that I was advised to spend nearly $2,000 replacing a functioning compressor.

While they were very fast to respond and the job was completed, I think they take advantage of the circumstance $2K for a capacitor change and a outdoor motor fan? knowing that parts is about $600, seems very excessive and they know that, I called to ask for them to a partial refund they said they were going to look into it never heard anything back. First and last time.
